Arbitrator's responsibilities
Arbitration in scientific journals - including the Misan Journal of Political and International Studies - is the process of careful and detailed study and examination of research papers, to determine whether these papers are suitable for publication or not, especially arbitrating the originality of the research presented, the extent of the impact of its results, its quality, and its importance, in all fields. Scientific and humanitarian specializations, i.e. giving legitimacy to scientific research.
The scientific arbitrator must fully adhere to the regulations, standards and instructions of the Misan Journal of Political and International Studies.
It is essential that the selected arbitrators notify the Editorial Board, in a timely manner, of their inability to arbitrate and their desire to withdraw from the arbitration.
Reviewers must deal confidentially with research and articles sent to them for review, as well as all data related to the researcher or editors.
The arbitration must be supported by clear opinions and compelling scientific arguments and must be in accordance with the approved regulations and standards of the “Terms and Standards of Publication” of the Misan Journal of Political and International Studies.
The reviewers must notify the head of the editorial board that the author does not comply with the publishing standards in the journal.
Reviewing the research by the arbitrators helps the editorial board make the appropriate decision regarding the research, in terms of accepting or rejecting it, after providing scientific material evidence regarding non-plagiarism or scientific theft.
Any information and ideas mentioned in manuscripts may not be used by reviewers for personal purposes, competitive or other interests, and will not be taken into account when reviewing a manuscript for any of the authors, institutions, or stakeholders.
The editorial board is committed not to reveal the names of the arbitrators.
