Climate Diplomacy in the International System: A Study of Tools, Challenges, and Geopolitical Impacts

Abstract

This research seeks to address a fundamental question: What is the relationship between climate diplomacy and the international system, and what tools can climate diplomacy employ to influence this system? Additionally, what is the extent of these impacts, and what challenges might climate diplomacy face in the resulting geopolitical landscape? These questions will be examined through two comprehensive axes: the first explores the mechanisms and tools of climate diplomacy, while the second addresses the geopolitical challenges and their corresponding impacts on the international order.
